About Vijaya Sri Blood Centre
Established in 2020, Vijaya Sri Blood Centre is a dedicated charitable blood donation and transfusion facility serving Khammam and surrounding regions. With a mission to save lives through safe and accessible blood supply, we have supported over 10,000 blood bags so far, ensuring quality and safety in every donation.

Our centre plays a crucial role in blood collection, screening, storage, and distribution to those in need, including local hospitals, emergency cases, and patients battling critical conditions like thalassemia, cancer, and severe anemia. As a part of our commitment, we have already donated 2,500 blood bags specifically for thalassemia patients, making a tangible difference in their lives.​

At the heart of Vijaya Sri Blood Centre is Dr. Kurapati Pradeep Kumar, a renowned pediatrician and a passionate advocate for children’s healthcare and blood donation awareness. As the Managing Director, his relentless dedication to child welfare and thalassemia patients has been the driving force behind this initiative.

Alongside leading Vijaya Sri Blood Centre, Dr. Pradeep Kumar also manages two esteemed hospitals—Kurapati Children Care and Abhaya Multi-Speciality Hospital—both of which cater to critical pediatric and multi-specialty healthcare needs in the region. His extensive experience in treating young patients and his deep understanding of blood-related disorders inspired him to establish a centre that not only supplies blood but also educates and empowers people about the importance of safe and voluntary blood donation.
